Ski Colorado
FeaturingSki Areas near Denver
The
city of Denver is the gateway to skiing the central Rockies. When fresh powder falls, Denver locals flock to ski resorts within commute range. Loveland, Arapaho Basin ("A"-Basin), and Keystone are closest. Winterpark and Breckenridge are a slightly longer dive and have more accommodations for an overnight
stay.

More Info
I use a Garmin Forerunner 305 to record GPS data while skiing. It is works well in cold weather and the large stop/start buttons on the face are glove-friendly. At the end of each day I upload the data to MountainDynamics.com. It is a great way to save and view your "Snow Days." Tips: Use the Forerunner's "Other" activity mode for skiing, and remember to press and hold the Lap button to reset the device. This saves your active track log, allowing it be uploaded to the Mountain Dynamics web site.
