Mount Rainier

Spray
Park
Meadows, waterfalls and great views lure visitors to Mount Rainier's Spray Park. Getting off the beaten path is one way to beat the crowds, while still enjoying this popular area. This "off the trail" hike was featured in Backpacker Magzaine's May 2004 issue.
"This 25-mile trek transects Spray Park's sprawling alpine meadows, but sticks to scrambling routes and low-traffic footpaths most of the way. The result is a challanging 3-day loop with plenty of solitude and near-constant views of Rainier."
Advertised as a "Peakbagger's Special", the routing includes points of interest such as Mother Mountain, Fay Peak Mt. Pleasant and Echo Rock.
