Lighthouse Lakes
Texas
has a great little kayaking trail near Corpus Christi called Lighthouse
Lakes.
The Texas Parks and Wildlife department has developed and maintains the trails in an area called North Harbor Island, just west of Port Aransas.
The trails wind through one of the most pristine tidal flats on the Texas Gulf Coast. This area is also popular for fishing and birding.
Even though the trails are marked, it is easy to get turned around. Download this GPS Map to stay oriented.
