Description:Permission for this stash was granted on 25 June 2001.
This stash is located in one of the few places in the gorges where you can get a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Escarpment. It is approximately equal distance from each trail access point.

There is no special equipment required, just a healthy set of legs. You'll probably be complaining more about the steep terrain on the walk back. To shorten your hike on Auger Hole Road you can ride a horse or mountain bike (or an ATV during hunting season), but you will still need your legs for the last quarter-mile.
